Who are the Washitaw?
We are the indigenous inhabitants of America. The Ancient Ones: the Pyramid/Mound Builders, The aboriginal proprietors of this land. You ask, " What pyramids?" We reply, "Look in your front yard, it is our backyard." Each 'so-called' Mound and earthen pyramid, is evidence of the Empire Washitaw de Dugdahmoundyah

"It is a very relevant indicator of an Olmec penetration far to the north, or of the presence of a new group co-existing with the Olmecs," The designs and symbols found at some sacred Olmec sites are similar to those found at much older sites in the Washitaw area like, "Poverty Point", or the Great Bird Mound in northern Louisiana, Spiro Mounds, Oklahoma, and Moundville in Alabama.
